Zeta-Hybrid Tech Case Study: Scroll-Driven Software Website

Zeta-Hybrid Tech is the home of Rod's own software projects: a virtual studio rack, a jazz practice tool, a recording transcriber and an AI agent he runs. The site had to tell four different stories in one scroll, so it's built the way a premium client site would be, with motion that guides the visitor through the work.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The business problem and the opportunity.

Four projects, each with its own story: a studio rack, a practice tool, a transcriber and an agent. The site had to give each one room and still read as one body of work.

Deliverables
  • Custom website design and build
  • Scroll motion system
  • Project showcase sections
  • Share card and favicon set
What was built

Built as custom code on Astro, with the scroll motion coded by hand. On a bigger screen, sections lock in place while the picture opens up behind the words. Headlines slide across and numbers count up. The first screen reveals the inside of the craft under the cursor. On a phone the same story becomes simpler scroll reveals in a stacked layout.

Website, search and conversion strategy

After the hero, the page says who made all this and why, then gives each project its own section: the story, what it does, what it's made of, and its real screens. The artwork between the sections is generated and art directed. Hermes, whose real screens hold credentials, gets an illustrative table of its scheduled jobs instead.

What it was designed to support

A showcase has one job, which is proof. Visitors can see how the work was made and where its limits are: the transcriber's accuracy is stated plainly, including that its output is a draft. The site loads nothing from outside its own address, serves its own fonts, and ships strict security headers, the rules that tell a browser what a page is allowed to load or do.

PROJECT VISUAL

A closer look at the experience.

The visual direction here was built to support clearer communication, stronger first impressions, and a more deliberate path into the most important content.

Why the second view matters

This second screenshot gives a better sense of how the project holds together beyond the hero. It helps show the supporting sections, content rhythm, and the way the layout keeps guiding attention through the page.
